Banksparency is a data-driven platform that helps you find financial products that fit your money. We believe information should be objective, independent, and free.

How we make money

Some of the offers on this site are from companies that compensate us. You should never be surprised by an affiliate link, so every paid offer is labeled "Sponsored", whether it appears as a highlighted button or as a labeled link inside a block marked "Sponsored". If a link is not labeled, it is organic data, provided for your benefit. Where more than one of our partners qualifies for a placement, we may show them in turn rather than always showing the same one.

Compensation never changes a ranking

Our comparison tables and rankings are sorted by the highest APY (Annual Percentage Yield) by default, so the highest rates always rise to the top, with or without a partnership with that bank. That sorting is never altered by a partnership; only the clearly labeled Sponsored blocks are paid placements. On the guided Find an Account path there are no sponsored placements at all: a card can carry a labeled affiliate link, but affiliate status never decides which accounts appear or in what order.

What the labels mean

  • Sponsored: the bank paid for that placement or pays us a fee when you open an account through that link. The label sits on the placement itself.
  • No label: organic data. The bank did not pay to appear, and the position comes from the published rate alone.

What we do not cover yet

Banksparency strives to include all banks and their available offers, but it does not currently do so. Please reach out with questions, concerns, or tips on bank products that we can add.
